The Chaahat Masale intervention was started by BETI Foundation from May 2012 with an aim to provide employment to women who were either illiterate or neo literate both of the deprive rural and urban areas.
The intervention was started with a small subsidized Loan from the Khadi Village Industries Board (KVIB) in Barabanki District .The Credit Limit was three lakhs l and the BETI Foundation had to invest’s its own small recourses .However the Purity and the Quality of the Spices began to create a growing demand which if strengthened with CSR Funds – can grow into a vibrant industry reaching out to hundreds of Women .
